Rex goes to get his messages.....

First of all we would like to explain something...one half of Flora Gray is a Glaswegian and is teaching the Southerly other half of Flora Gray the intricate complex dialect that is the Glaswegian tongue. So by definition "Rex goes to get his messages" means Rex goes to get his groceries! In this instance Rex went off to Pak and Save in Kilbirnie, Wellington to collect his messages for the week.....

Rex is a rather mischievous hand knitted little rabbit. He can be a bit of a handful as this trip to Pak and Save proved. First of all he wouldn't sit on his seat on the bus and kept wanting to jump up and look out of the window (and we know how high rabbits can jump).

Rex loves all things New Zealand. In particular he enjoys kiwi fruits. He likes their furry nature. He likes to get in amongst them to make sure he gets the best, ripest fruit. He finds this method the most effective in selecting his kiwi fruits for the week!

Rex knows how important it is to keep his friends at Flora Gray well supplied with tea. Rex likes a good strong cup of tea made in a teapot - never in a cup!

After all this shopping Rex is exhausted. He is not looking forward to carrying all of his shopping home on the bus!
